Vaux-les-Prés

Historically the capital of time, Besançon also saw the birth of its bedding factory in 1955.
The transformation of raw materials, like metal for Robert Schad, characterises the vocation of Literie Bonnet. Since its creation, the company’s aim has been to use only the finest, noblest and healthiest materials, for the greater good of the sleeper.
After discovering the works of Robert Schad, it was only natural to present Sybaris in front of the Literie Bonnet factory. Here, metal is present in the springs of the Héritage 1955 line, they are wrapped in cotton bags, between horsehair and the finest sheep and camel wool.
Founded in 1955 in Besançon by Maurice Bonnet, the Literie Bonnet factory has, over the years, perpetuated a tradition of craftsmanship in the bedding trade. Its size and its family character allow it to be independent in its desire to select the best materials and to take the time necessary for their careful execution.
The excellence of our collections has always been the result of a combination of state-of-the-art technology and traditional techniques. Thus, the assembling and finishing of each piece is always carried out in France, in accordance with the rules of manufacturing high quality bedding.
What other feeling could guide us in our quest for perfection? Since 1955, it is our passion that allows us to offer you the best for your nights. We make all our bedding in our workshops located on the outskirts of Besançon. At the beginning of 2010, our factory moved into the future by integrating new premises: a mattress workshop, a bed base workshop and a cabinet making workshop cohabiting in a modern and bright space.
All our mattresses, bed bases and headboards are designed and made by us in our workshops. From design to delivery to your home, the men and women of Literie Bonnet do everything possible to ensure that your nights contribute to your well-being.
Each product, made only to order, requires 4 to 6 weeks of lead time, which is the time necessary for a careful and reasonable manufacture for a daily use between 8 and 10 years.
Since 1955, materials have guided our thinking, from the design to the production of our models. It is a pleasure for us to work with materials such as horsehair, natural latex, silk, walnut or oak, to name but a few. The chefs of great restaurants use the best ingredients to delight your taste buds, Literie Bonnet uses the most beautiful materials to enchant your nights!
